Hello all. I just wanted to give you an update on the blog progress. I haven’t entered many posts recently because I’ve been working very hard to learn more about the Wordpress blogging software and also learning about RSS. I’ve been working to get my own RSS reader software running. It seems to be working now and I’m tracking the RSS feeds from my own blog as well as a few other podcasts. There are many RSS readers available, but I finally went with RSSOwl. It’s a free reader with many features.
I am now channeling the RSS feeds through Feedburner. This allows me to enhance the presentation and make the feeds available to more people.
I am eventually planning to start podcasts related to the blog. I’m not quite ready to do that. It involves learning, and sometimes buying, a lot of new technology. It’s on my list though. I am also considering starting a blogcast, which would be an audio version of the blog, for those who would rather listen to the posts than read. I should be getting back to the energy related posts shortly.
